By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms.
2. Nature of service
Black Velvet Sound provides digital audio production services, including but not limited to mixing and mastering.
All services are delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
Each service is custom-made based on the audio and instructions provided by the client.
3. Order process
By placing an order:
- You confirm you are purchasing a digital service
- You agree to provide all necessary audio files and information
- Work begins once payment is successfully completed
We reserve the right to refuse any project at our discretion.
4. Client responsibilities
You confirm that:
- You own or have legal rights to all audio files submitted
- Your material does not infringe copyright or any third-party rights
- All files provided are final and ready for mixing/mastering unless otherwise stated
We are not responsible for legal issues arising from submitted content.
5. Turnaround time
Estimated turnaround times are provided on the website or product page.
Typical delivery time is 2–5 working days, depending on workload and project complexity.
Delays may occur during high demand periods, but we will always communicate with you if this happens.
6. Revisions
Unless otherwise stated:
- Each order includes 1–2 revision rounds
- Revisions must relate to the original mix/master provided
- Significant changes (e.g. new arrangement or new audio files) may be treated as a new order
Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur extra charges.
7. Payments
All payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).
We do not store or have access to your full payment details.
Orders will not begin until payment has been successfully received.
8. Refund policy
Due to the nature of digital, custom-made services:
- Refunds are not available once work has begun
- Refund requests before work begins may be considered at our discretion
- Completed or delivered work is non-refundable
By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
9. File delivery
Final mixes and masters are delivered digitally via email or download link.
We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect email addresses provided by the client.
10. Storage of files
We may store project files temporarily during the production process.
We are not obligated to retain files indefinitely after project completion.
11. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Business interruption
- Financial loss resulting from use of delivered audio
- Issues caused by incorrect or incomplete files provided by the client
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
12. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
